At the end of the semester,mthe student should be able to:
-use theoretical perspectives and concepts of sociology to analyze practices, objects and discourses in the cultural field;
-put cultural production, distribution and consumption in perspective with the development of societies;
-recognize and describe, from a sociological point of view, the place of culture, art and artists in society
