Objectives

Consolidate theoretical and practical skills in the field of drawing in the relationship between autonomous drawing and the project activity;

Contribute to the autonomous development of project methodology, based on the practice of drawing in different contexts, e.g. artistic practice, graphic narrative, animation, science illustration.

Explore and adapt means, supports and instruments to respond to the problems and stages of a work plan/project;

Working the autonomy and practice of drawing as a reflective, expressive and communicative means;

Ability to prepare and implement an individual work plan/project;

Learning outcomes and competences

Based on a theoretical and practical structure, the program will be implemented in accordance with the objectives of the UC, updating, in the practice of drawing, the relationship between drawing, the project activity and drawing as an autonomous practice.

The syllabus will be worked from the development, by the student, of an individual work plan/project in conjunction with case studies and/or simulations, in professional, disciplinary, transdisciplinary and artistic areas, explored in the UC Drawing Project I.

The individual work plan/project will be prepared in accordance with the syllabus and objectives of the UC; will be presented, discussed and approved; it will simultaneously constitute its work program at the UC, which it must fulfill and implement. It is intended in this way to contribute to active thinking around the main issues involved in the design project, — in different contexts — promoting different fields of action, diversifying methodologies, in the relationship between design activity and procedural dynamics, in order to work and thinking about the autonomy and practice of drawing as a reflective, expressive and communicative means.

Program

From the working drawings on the project of drawing

When drawing as a verb becomes drawing as a noun — between drawing and process;

An intermediary path, between theory and practice - the discovery of meaning through doing;

Drawing as an instrument of its knowledge;

The autonomous drawing and drawing as project.
