FAUP 40 years

1979-2019

On December 21st, 2019, FAUP celebrates its 40th anniversary. The Faculty was created by decree in 1979, 200 years after the establishment of the ‘Sketching and Drawing Class’ (1779 - 1803) that was the starting point for the Architectural Programme in Porto.

In 40 moments, FAUP’s 40 years will be celebrated throughout 2020, reflecting on its path and envisioning what the
school might and wishes to be.
