Objectives

Understand the children’s problematics and their development.

Acquire knowledge about Gymnastics and its various variants.

Understand how gymnastics can be a positively influence or a way for developt children.

Acquire practical experiences of gymnastic’s skills.

Know the children's characteristics in this ages - 2/7 years.

To be able to adapt gymnstcs skills in children's activities.

Understand the generic techniques and the way to applie those techniques in some learning situations for children.

Know how to use and creat learning situations using diferent kind of material

Master the manual help in those skills where children need support.

Know how to develop general and specific preparation for motor skills and develop autonomous children.

Motor development in the first years of life.

Motor skills; the importance of coordination.

Gymnastics fundations: displacements, rotations, supports, hangs, jumps and receptions.

The basics skills on Artistic Gymnastics aparatus.

Use of diferente devices adapted to children

Learn the most important types of help

Understand the safety techniques to apllie in children.

Understand the techniques for developing autonomous learning

Understand how to create diferent situations to devolop skills (manual help and material placement).

Eligibility for exams

The students should attend at least 75% of given lessons, or, having special condition (exeample: studant worker), to 50% of given lessons.

 

Other cases should be reported to the responsible teachers during the first two weeks of the school year.

Calculation formula of final grade

Distribution assessment with final exam.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Students who are not able to do the evaluation in the dates previously marked by the teacher, for health reasons (injury, surgery or prolonged recovery from disease), should speak with the teacher to mark another date, which can not go beyond the last day of the first semester.
