Objectives

Clarify the main theoretical-scientific questions of the "sports sciences".

1. Understand the role of the scientific approach to sport and PE.

2. Understand what is the body of knowledge of a scientific field.

3. Understand what the appropriate research methodology.

4. Identify problems of application of research results in practice.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students are able to identify the main scientific criteria applied to the sports sciences and detect difficulties in their development.
