Objectives

The Course Sport Pedagogy (SP) refers to pedagogical dimension of sport, as element of our culture, in the overall process of education and training of human beings.
Sp as a scientific discipline
Anthropological foundations os SP
Problematic areas of Sport Pedagogy: education, training, learning, game, body, movement. Ethical dimension of sport. Sport and profession.

Learning outcomes and competences

Clarify key concepts. To understand the diversity of sport nowadays, to problematize the different forms of recreational and sporting action from the point of view of several pedagogical perspectives. Understand the pedagogical significance of sport in practical field. Teaching as an educational process. Training: a special form of teaching

1. Sport Pedagogy (SP) as a scientific discipline. The paradigm shift of the Theory of Physical Education (TEF) to SP SP object. SP objectives ; SP as an action science; PS main perspectives; the methodological issue; SP systematic; development prospects of SP. Human and pedagogical significance of sport; cultural offensive of sport and its educational upgrading.

2 Theoretical justification of learning needs, education and socialization of the human being. The reasons and justifications of SP throughout History. Classical Greece, the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Modern Age. Principal authors. The classic justification of Pestalozzi

3 Anthropological Foundations of Sport Pedagogy. Anthropological issues related to PE and Sports: Body; movement; game; performance.

4. Problematic domains of Sport Pedagogy: Education, Training, Learning, Development and Socialization.
4.1 Concept of education; meanings of education; education as an action.
4.2 Contradictions of education; contradictions of educational situation; contradictions of school as an institution. Education in the broad sense and in a narrow sense. The educational act.
4.3 School and society - interdependent model. Social conditions of sports education.
4.3.1. Social inequality in access to sport - a pedagogical problem.
4.3.2. Organized sport for children and young people
4.3.3. "Commercial" sport.


5 The issue of educational objectives.
5.1.Function of pedagogical objectives; legitimation of pedagogical objectives; key ideas of the legitimacy of objectives: the idea of ​​emancipation; idea of ​​the ability to communicate; idea of ​​the capacity for action.
5.2. Pedagogical objectives of a good sports-motor education. Plurality of objectives in Sports Education.
5.3. Achievement of objectives.
5.4. Objectives and curriculum contents - the historical and social context.
