Promoting specific experiences (adaptation to the aquatic environment, artistic swimming and water polo) and acquiring basic knowledge about swimming (understanding the specificities of the environment, the design of swimming classes and mechanical bases, technical regulations for artistic swimming and technical regulations for water polo).
Understand the basic mechanical principles (hydrostatic and hydrodynamic) to justify the aquatic exercise.
Be adapted to the aquatic environment and be able to perform the basic skills of artistic swimming and water polo.
Know how to apply the pedagogical sequences for: the basic aquatic adaptation, artistic swimming and water polo.
To know and to applyt the technical rules of artistic swimming and water polo.
Those required to have access to the Faculty of Sport.

Students cannot miss more than 25% of the classes provided, but that number can go to 50% if absences are supported by a medical report confirming incapacity for regular swimming participation.
Are exempted from verification of the conditions of attendance as provided by law workers and students athletes integrated in high-competition legislation.
Students who are exempt from the actual practice of the classes may be asked to perform tasks to demonstrate mastery of subject matter expertise and skills required in this form of course.
Note: the justification of absences is through the presentation by the student of a request addressed to the Pedagogical Council. Teacher do not justify classes missed.
Practical component (75%):
- basic aquatic adaptation tests (15%)
- artistic swimming (30%)
- water polo (30%)
Theoretical component (25%):
- overall written test
Minimum mark in each item - 8 points (not rounded)
Minimum final mark - 9.5 (not rounded)
Recovery tests to be held on a date set by the teachers.
The use of googles, nose clips or other objects during the practical evaluations is not allowed.
