Pro-Skills is not a mandatory program, but it is highly recommended for all Bachelor’s and Master's Degree students at FEP, as it will contribute decisively towards the recognition of the broad scope of your FEP training on the job market and serve as a distinctive complement to both your degree and your CV.
The minimum scores in each area were defined considering the total time of each cycle of studies. The types of activity with minimum points are those that are compulsory, or considered essential for students.
If you do not achieve the points minimum in an area where one is defined, you will not be able to request the final Pro-Skills certificate, which is only issued to those who complete the minimum points in each of the areas that have a defined points minimum. However, it is still possible to request the certificate of completion for the extracurricular areas that you were able to earn the minimum points in, or, if this minimum doesn’t exist, for which you have participated in an activity in that area.
Yes. FEP has an advising and career service that works on appointment and that also has the goal of helping students develop a plan of personal development.
Yes, it's important to read the Pro-Skills Regulations. This is only available to registered users.
The registration in most of the Pro-Skills activities is done through this platform. Actual student attendance will be verified during each activity. If the student is present for the activity they registered in, they will be awarded the points for that activity. If, on the contrary, the student does not attend any of the activities for which they have registered, and they did not cancel their registration within the time frame foreseen in the regulations, they will be blocked from register in new activities for the period of one month as a penalty.
Just check the pages My Academic Record and My Participations and check your partial and total points.
The final Pro-Skills certificate is a digital document that can be requested through the platform when all the conditions foreseen in the program regulations for it to be issued are met.
Pro-Skills certificates represent the extracurricular areas for which you’ve participated in activities throughout your academic training, each of which is associated with specific skills. In this sense, companies and other external entities that have access to your certificate(s) will see the skills that the program defines as underlying the activities you participated in.
