Abstract (EN):
A step-by-step analysis of numerical procedures for stress computation in elastoplastic finite element problems has been made, underlining some relevant points and suggesting simple solutions. Matrix formulation, determination of the contact stress state and subdivision and reduction of the excess stress are described. Plastic flow modeling and physical and numerical unloading are accounted for, together with 3-dimensional plane stress plasticity.
