Resumo (PT): Uma equipa multidisciplinar na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto tem vindo a implementar um laboratório remoto que está a ser usado para o ensino. Essa colaboração tem resultado no desenvolvimento de uma simulação muito realista do interferómetro de Michelson; a implementação de um sistema de controlo remoto para um interferómetro real está na fase de construção.

Abstract (EN): A multidisciplinary team in the Engineering School of the University of Porto has been working on the implementation of a remote and virtual laboratory that is being used for teaching. That collaboration has already resulted in the development of a realistic simulation of a Michelson interferometer, and the implementation of a remote control system for a real interferometer is underway.
