Abstract (EN): A methodology for the expedite testing of different experimental conditions for the growth of carbon filaments by CCVD, was developed. The methodology could process four catalysts simultaneously in each run. Carbon deposition was carried out in a horizontal tubular reactor placed inside an electrical furnance. Methane decomposition was performed at atmospheric pressure in the presence of H2 of methane. and in temperature range of 650-950 ° C. The experiment enabled increase in the carbon yields and to decrease the amounts of non-filamentary materials present in the deposits.
