Abstract (EN): Work activities performed in Food and Nutrition Units present a set of characteristics that can cause occupational diseases and accidents at work. This research show how the use of ergonomy can be a positively influence the work environment by providing resources and tools for canteens and industrial cuisines, or FNUs to improve the health of their workers and also their environment work. The research found that the environment has some evidence of awkward postures, overly physical exertion; inadequate dimensioning of workplaces and it is shown necessary ergonomic interventions.
