Summary: The Ecopharmabuilding project aims at the construction of a sustainable building for pharmaceutical activities using a new methodology. In this building, eco-innovative solutions for pharmaceutical processes will be included. With this new methodology we will help the pharmaceutical industry to face key environmental challenges:
High energy consumption of electricity and fossil fuels
Emission of toxic substances from materials, water waste and toxic organic and biological wastes
High consumption of materials and packaging and lost of soil
Possibilities of intoxication and illnesses of researchers, volunteers and citizens
