The FPCEUP Library's mission is to support teaching and research by providing a range of services, a vast, diversified and up-to-date collection of documents and access to various information resources.

A dynamic organisation that responds to the challenges of its time, it currently makes available, in addition to documents in traditional format (paper), an increasing number of resources in digital format (library catalogue, databases, magazines and e-books, etc.), thus guaranteeing users access to information without barriers of space and time.

The Library acquires, processes and disseminates documentation and information to meet the needs of the academic community. It operates on an open-access basis, which allows all users to freely consult the documents in the reading rooms.
