Description:	Technical team: Pedro Garcia, Agostinho Soares The Installation and Maintenance Service (SIM) carries out its activity within the scope of the maintenance of the building, infrastructures and equipment of general use of the FPCEUP. The Installation and Maintenance Service is responsible for the following functions To watch over the maintenance of the facilities and common equipment of the Faculty; To organise and ensure a preventive and corrective maintenance service for the Faculty's buildings To promote the award of works, in accordance with the legislation in force, to monitor, coordinate and supervise their execution, as well as to proceed with the provisional and final acceptance of the awarded works To organise and provide concierge and security services; To watch over the exterior spaces, namely the gardens and car parks; Ensure compliance with current legislation on hygiene and safety at work; Coordinate the emergency plans for the Faculty's buildings; Ensures the environmental management and energy efficiency of the Faculty's spaces.
