Objectives

Knowledge of the main social psychological theories of intergroup and intragroup processes and the basic factors underlying these processes.

Development of analytical, research and intervention skills about intergroup and intragroup processes.in the professional contexts at which the Organizational, Social and Work Psychology is directed, as well as in basic research on inter- and intra-group relations.

Eligibility for exams

The evaluation is distributed with final evaluation. Students must write an individual report about one subject of their choice in the program, and a collective report about the research project. Students are required to a) attend 75% of the practical courses, b) participate in at least 3/4 of the tasks proposed in the practical courses, c) do data collection work, either in the laboratory or in the field, and (d) co-author the final research report of their team.

Calculation formula of final grade

The final grade will be given by the formula:

Individual Report X .65 + Group Report X .35, conditional to the effective participation in the practical courses’ tasks
