Teaching methods and learning activities
The contact hours, consisting of theoretical and practical lessons, will include face-to-face lessons and diversified methods. A flipped learning methodology will be adopted with the use of the U.Porto Moodle platform. In a flipped class, theory contents are made available to students before the classes, and the class consists of more active methodologies and interactions (debate; documents search and analysis; production and presentation of papers; and tutorial guidance). After the class, discussion forums will be opened in Moodle to share searches and additional challenges and doubts. The classes work will be used in three individual assignments to learning assessment, including an essay and the production of a digital campaign in the field of Environmental Education and/or Sustainable Development that will constitute the group work component.

The adopted evaluation model presupposes compliance with attendance in accordance with the law for the remaining courses of the Faculty and without prejudice to the provisions of article 9, paragraph 4, of the evaluation regulation.
According to the evaluation method of the course, the student obtains the frequency of the course unit if, having been regularly enrolled, does not exceed the limit of absences corresponding to 25% and present the collective and individual work by the date stipulated in the annual calendar.
The non-performance / presentation of some activity provided for in the evaluation methods will result in an examination that contemplates the objectives defined for the collective work and the individual work. In this case, the test will have the value of 100%, and no classification of the distributed evaluation will be considered
Calculation formula of final grade
The final classification, on a scale of 0 to 20, corresponds to the average of the project work classification (40%) and the written work (60%), both individual components. Students who have a negative classification or do not deliver the expected work will take an examination of all the contents developed in the course.
