Objectives

This discipline aims to:

- Describe and clarify the goals, values and principles that should actually guide the practices of psychosocial rehabilitation.

- Identify the specificities of the different stages of "recovery" process.

- Identify the different intervention areas in the field of psychosocial rehabilitation.

- Think critically about psychosocial rehabilitation models.

To think critically about some theoretical questions of Psychosocial Rehabilitation and about recovery process.

1. Psychosocial Rehabilitation: historical background and current conceptualization

2. Goals, values and principles of psychosocial rehabilitation

3. Specificities of psychosocial rehabilitation process

4. Different domains of intervention in Psychosocial Rehabilitation: the development of skills and support resources to various areas of functioning and social participation

5. Psychosocial Rehabilitation models: Assertive Community Treatment Model, Club House Model, and Choose-Get-Keep(CGK) Program Model.
