- Producing qualitative data in the form of written documents;
- Analyse of qualitative data using the NVivo qualitative data software;
- Producing scientific documents reporting the research that was carried on.

Eligibility for exams

Classes are subject to verification of attendance, so they are compulsory, in accordance with the Regulations of Principles for the assessment of students FPCEUP.

Calculation formula of final grade

Students must develop a qualitative research project. Each student, in groups of two, should produce a written document (data collected empirically). It's up to each work group to produce and analyze the documents and prepare a report produced to report scientific research developed.
Therefore, in order to obtain approval in the UC is required for each student:
- Produce a written document;
- Perform as a group, practical work;
- Obtain a final mark of 10 (out of 20) in practical work.
The production of a document does not automatically imply a failure in UC, as well as getting score below 10 points in the scientific report.

Examinations or Special Assignments

View Special Assessment.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Students who by law are exempted from verification of the conditions of attendance to classes will perform all assessment components previously defined. They will contact the staff in charge early in the semester (and NEVER after the 2nd class at the course).

Classification improvement

The improvement of classification consists in improving the written report produced in the course.
