Objectives

- To supervise the development and the construction of the master dissertation;
- To enhance the capacity to analyse and to evaluate critically the produced knowledge;
- To promote inovation and interdisciplinary dialogue, as well as the value of the contribution of Psychology;
- To develop the capacity to present the several phases of research, in a structured, coherent, clear and articulated way, in order to permit its difusion.

Program

Development, by each student, of an original research project, empirical or not, in the domain of Psychology.
Presentation of the several phases of research to the tutor and peer group (the other students).

Teaching methods and learning activities

Contact activities: tutorial orientation; presentation of works by the students; oriented work field; formative evaluation and evaluation of learning results.
Autonomous work: reading and analysis of texts; research work; bibliography search; oral presentation of all the phases of the research project to the tutor and peer group.

Eligibility for exams

Active participation in all the meetings with the tutor;
Oral presentation (10 minutes), to be scheduled 1 week before the ending of the 1st semester (2nd year), according to the norms established by the tutor.

Calculation formula of final grade

Minimum grade: 10.

Oral presentation - 10 minutes - of all the phases of the research in the domain of Psychology.
