Objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Express knowledge in the field of intellectual and personality differences and their origins, using different sources of information;
- Organize and systematize the knowledge acquired in a common structure, ranking it according to its level of generality and importance;
- Critically analyze the knowledge;
- Use the expertise to make a critical analysis of new theories and new knowledge, to argue about various issues and to justify the refusal or support of proposals for intervention in the field of intellectual differences and personality.

1 - Intelligence
- Introduction - Definition of the concept.
- Intra and inter-individual differences: the theories of intelligence.
- Differences between groups: according to socio-economic status, gender and time.
- Physical contexts of development: heredity and brain structures.
- Development of social contexts: family and school.
2 - Personality
- Introduction – Definition of the concept.
- Intra and inter-individual differences: the theories of personality.
- Differences between groups according to gender and time.
- Physical contexts of development: heredity and brain structures.

Calculation formula of final grade
1. Final exam: the final exam could be worth 100% or 75% (if practical work is carried out). The final exam will consist of five answer questions directly and 2 of development.
2. Practical work (optional) (25%).
Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)
If there is a particularity that has proven to prevent the student to submit to the assessment provided for the majority of cases, a new type of assessment can be agreed (e.g. continuous assessment with performance of more practical work).
Classification improvement
The improvement of the final classification is possible by repeating final exam.
