Objectives

1) Study of disordered human behaviour;
2) Analysis of the semiology of the psychic patient;
3) Basic elements for the comprehension of the sick man from an eclectic point of view.

Program

Theoretical lessons
Scope and relevance of this subject within the study course of psychology. Notion of "psychic disease". Psychiatric nosography and aetiology. Affective psychopathology; psychopathology of sense-perception; psychopathology of memory; psychopathology of conscience; psychopathology of thought; psychopathology of language; psychopathology of motorial activity; psychopathology of initiative; psychopathology of psychosexual life. Oro-alimentary disturbances. Suicide. Schizophrenia. Affective disturbances. Psychopathies. Neuroses and experience-based reactions.
Practical lessons
Phenomenology; observation and study of all the semiology in patients within the scope of general psychopathology. Interviews, communication, diagnosis and therapeutic perspective.
