The project Hotel3.0 main objective is to develop new and innovative products that will leverage Web3.0 concepts and the recent investment in New Generation Networks, allowing Nonius to expand its offer in the area of the Digital Media Broadband and to reach new clients. both in Portugal and abroad.
The product will initially target the hospitality market and will introduce differentiating digital services that take advantage of Next Generation Networks. Hotel3.0 is therefore a solution that lures high and premium range markets with a highly differentiating range of personalized entertainment and interactive communication services, tailored for the hospitality end-user. The proposed solution will be developed based on an already existing Next Generation Network infrastructure.
Hotel3.0 provides the following innovation differentiating aspects:
-Distribution of personalized and interest-tailored digital content
-Capability to increase social interaction through client-to-client communication
-Development of interest-based and social mobility profiles
The content distribution is to be performed in such a way that allows the end-user to be immersed anywhere and anytime in innovative multimedia services that have as common goal to entertain the end-user and to improve social entanglement. The hotel guest will have access to personalized content, based on his/her own interest profile and to advanced functionality augmenting his/her living experience while at the hotel or resort, namely by enjoying the reception of multimedia content (live or on-demand) independently of his/her location within the hotel/resort and of the used reception device (e.g. Set Top Box, laptop, and PDA). Hence, Hotel3.0 communication services are the basis for hospitality customers to enjoy an enhanced social entanglement, given that Hotel3.0 provides such customers with multimedia entertainment services based on Next Generation Networks. |
