Summary:

In the last years, since the beginning of Framework Program 5, several measures were taken in order to support Portuguese organizations taking advantage of available European Union funds for research and innovation, in the belief that sustained growth is attained through investment in the capacity and excellence of the economy.
This project addresses the development of software tools to support cooperation networks between companies and institutions from the National Scientific and Technological System in order to promote the turning of ideas into successful projects. These tools must include automatic mechanisms for idea identification, consortium formation, network cooperation and performance evaluation.
Building cooperation networks is a necessity in order to increase competitiveness that can only be achieved through cooperation.
