Ana Catarina Canário completed her PhD in Psychology in 2015 at the University of Minho. She is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, and an Integrated Member of the Center for Psychology at University of Porto, where she previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and as a Researcher. Her research is mainly developed in the areas of development, health, and community psychology. Over the past few years, her research has focused on the evaluation of evidence-based parenting interventions' efficacy and effectiveness, implemented in-person and also through the use of information and communication technologies. Her work in the field of family support includes multiple national and international collaborations, with solid contributions to the body of literature, professional practice, and policy-making.
