Teaching goals:
- To acquire deepened scientific knowledge in the educational sciences field;
- To deepen knowledge about the theoretical and methodological necessary devices to the development of research projects;
- To develop intervention competences in the different fields of human and social development.
Academic and Scientific Competences:
- To develop deepened research in the field of Educational Sciences autonomously;
- To integrate, participate and promote research and intervention team work;
- To conceive, develop and plan graduate and specialized training programmes and projects.
Professional Contexts:
- Teaching and research in Higher Education;
- Superior Educational Technicians working in European, national and local institutions;
- Trainer of Trainers;
- Research and intervention in projects.
Access requirements:
- first degree in Educational Science or in an area of the Social and Human Sciences with the minimum final average grade of 14 values (Portuguese evaluating scale: from 0 to 20)
- To have a suitable curriculum vitæ
- To be approved to fill a vacancy in a Master course
- The Scientific Board of our Faculty can, in exceptional cases, accept the application of a student that achieved less than 14 values in his first degree (Licenciado). However, in these cases, the students must prove to have acquired sufficient scientific knowledge and to show a suitable curriculum vitæ.
The Master courses last 4 semesters:
- 1st and 2nd semester - academic course
- 2nd and 3rd semester - writing the dissertation
