The Master’s in Sexology (MSEX) is a programme leading to a Master's degree that promotes theoretical and practical skills in the field of sexology, with a focus on clinical and social intervention contexts, combining the multi and interdisciplinary contribution of different scientific areas, such as Psychology, Medicine, Health Sciences, Education Sciences, and Social Sciences.

The MSEX comprises four semesters in which students are expected to acquire in-depth knowledge of the conceptualization of the human sexual response, the foundations of intervention in different clinical (e.g., sexual dysfunctions, sexual and reproductive health) and social (e.g., sexual violence) problems, and in promoting responses to issues of social relevance (e.g., sexual rights, sexual and gender diversity, sex education).

The classes of the MSEX (1st and 2nd semesters) are mostly in person, after work activities, with 30% taught using e-learning resources, allowing for distance collaboration with international experts. The practical component (3rd and 4th semesters) involves training in a clinical or social context or carrying out an intervention project, and completing a dissertation.
