The goal of this CU is to provide the knowledge, skills, and perspectives for reflective practice and effective program and projects development and evaluation.
Learning outcomes and competences
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- know and understand the main stages in the construction of programs/projects
- know the necessary methodologies for implementing a needs assessment and for mapping responses based on literature evidence
- design a program or project to address the problem identified in needs assessment
- establish strategies for program/project monitoring and evaluation
- plan a strategy for disseminating results
- identify risks and opportunities in program/project implementation
- define contingency plans
make programs and projects compatible with ethical and deontological principles

To successfully accomplish the course objectives will require regular class attendance and participation, consistent effort outside of class time, and thoughtful application of concepts covered during class time and in course readings.

Eligibility for exams
Mandatory attendance at 75% of classes taught.
Assessment: Students, organised in groups of 4, must choose one of the proposed themes and develop a programme/project, associated with the area of the Master's in Psychology, which they will develop in extra-class time and during practical classes.
Students must post a video on Moodle (in a section relating to their class) with a 10-minute pitch that must clearly and objectively present the development of a programme/project in response to the request made. Students may use power-points or other devices. All the students in the group must take part in the pitch.
The delivery date for the video is set in the first lesson.
In the last class, the teachers will discuss and give feedback on the videos and the students will be asked to ask their colleagues some questions.
The assessment is the result of all the teachers' joint appraisal of the video and the discussion held in the last class.
Calculation formula of final grade
The final score is obtained in the written work, on a scale ranging from 0 to 20
The classification cannot be less than 9.5 values.
The student will perform the UC to get the minimum total score of 10 values.

Classification improvement
Students must hand in a written document of up to 4 pages on the date of the appeal period, presenting the same programme/project but improved from the previous version presented at the pitch. The improvement is individual.
In the case of students who take part in the special period, the exam will consist of drawing up the skeleton of a program/project that responds to a request made in the exam.
