Program
The syllabus contents are contextual because the internships are organized according to the various domains of the MCED and in a wide range of contexts, previously registered for cooperation, covering the multiplicity of professional functions of the master's profile in Education Sciences, of which we highlight: conception, implementation, evaluation and execution of educational, community and institutional intervention programs and projects, and management, evaluation and animation of training.
The trainee is doubly oriented, by a local supervisor who monitors the activities carried out and by an advising teacher who meets regularly with the trainees, to ensure the connection between theoretical learning and practical requirements. It is also the supervisor's responsibility to ensure mediation between the faculty and the host entities during the internship, at the beginning, to adjust the internship, and at the end to collect the (qualitative) supervision assessment.Mandatory literature

Comments from the literature
The bibliography is variable depending on the context of the internship. However, some basic bibliographic references are considered, given the general and specific objectives of the internship:
Teaching methods and learning activities
The trainee goes from an initial situation of participation by observation to a progressively more autonomous exercise, in the context of a practice that is continually reflected, whether in the relationship with the supervisor or with the local focal person.
In addition to information from regular contacts between the supervisor and the intern, meetings are held between the intern, the supervisor and the local focal person; the latter, at the end of the internship, fills out a qualitative assessment form that is given to the supervisor.
Seminars between interns and supervisors, by domain, also take place as moments of joint training.
Although the guidance is carried out continuously, evaluation is carried out through the delivery of a final report. At the end of the year, a report is delivered by the student, presenting and theoretically and methodologically analyzing the activities carried out and the value of the internship experience for the profession. At the appropriate time, the internship report and public defense of the internship report takes place.Evaluation Type

Eligibility for exams
Experience in a real work context, continued over time (340 hours) with qualitative assessment of local supervision and continued presence in orientation sessions.Calculation formula of final grade
The Master's academic degree is assigned with a final classification expressed in the range of 10-20, as well as its equivalent on the European scale of comparability of classifications, on a scale from A to E (according to art. 18 to 229 of Decree-Law n9 42/2005, of 22 February, and with the algorithm approved by DGES and applied in UPorto). The final classification of the internship report is attributed in the public act of its defense. The final classification is calculated by the weighted average of the classifications obtained in the curricular units that constitute the study plan and in the public act of defense of the internship report, with the following weighting coefficients: 50% for the curricular part and 50% for the internship , respective report and its defense. A qualitative mention will also be attributed to the master's degree, with the following four classes, provided for in Decree-Law No. 42/2005, of 22 February: a) From 10 to 13 - Sufficient; b) 14 and 15 - Good; c) 16 and 17 - Very good, d) 18 to 20 - Excellent.Examinations or Special Assignments
