Objectives

The digitalisation of society and social relations has a particular impact on the field of education, with emphasis on the education of children and young people in school and family contexts, but also in the field of adult education and life, the accompaniment of senior citizens and the emancipation of disadvantaged or subordinated social groups. The curricular unit aims to contribute to the awareness of emerging transformations and the challenges arising from them, and to support the development of practices and resources for digital mediation in different educational contexts

Propose practices of education and training mediated by digital technologies

Eligibility for exams

The student obtains the frequency of the curricular unit if, having been regularly enrolled, he/she does not exceed the limit number of absences corresponding to 25% of the scheduled classes.

Calculation formula of final grade

The evaluation includes different components. The individual work 40% and the group work, product of the laboratorial practice has a weight of 60% in the final evaluation.

Students that by law are excused from class attendance should contact the uni teachers during the first 2 weeks of the semester to define the necessary forms of support and attendance.
