Presence in the classes is very important but it is not mandatory.
The final mark (in a 0 to 20 points rating scale) is obtained through the following calculation:
- Practical group work - to be developed throughout the semester, presented in one of the last classes and with a written report: 50% weighting;
- Final exam - on the subjects lectured during the semester: 50% weighting
In each of the evaluation components, the student must obtain a minimum score of 10 points. For successfully completing the course, students must achieve a final mark of 10.
Students with specific statutes will be evaluated by the completion of an individual written work replacing the group work done by other students for evaluation of the practical component (50% of the final grade) and undertaking an oral or written exam on what is taught in the course replacing the final exam (50% of final grade).
The attemp to improve the final result will be possible by repeating, once, the final exam in the subsequent season to that when approval was reached and whenever the UC has exam scheduled. the improvement will only be appliable to 50% of the classification refering to the final exam.
