Objectives
The main goals of this unit are to provide students:
- Theoretical-practical knowledge for intervention in physical and mental health issues. According to the issues presented on classes students should deepen their knowledge related with the different theoretical models applied to psychological intervention in diseases.
Program
1) Critical reflection about the concept of “Health Psychology and Disease Psychology” and its impact in society;
2) Theoretical models to disease intervention
3) Psychological intervention in AIDS, Oncology, cardiovascular diseases, obesity and diabetes
