Teaching methods and learning activities
The face-to-face classes include theoretical, theoretical-practical (TP) and practical (P) classes with different teaching and assessment methodologies in order to enhance the acquisition of skills.
In the T classes, theoretical presentations of the syllabus content will be given, allowing trainees to learn the basic/key concepts on the topics covered. This type of class will be assessed using a multiple-choice theory exam.
TP classes will use interactive dynamics, present practical examples, discuss points of view and clarify doubts. To assess this component, students will be asked to develop a social responsibility project and present it in the form of a video pitch.
In P classes – volunteering experience in an institution – and, therefore, in a field context, the knowledge acquired will be applied from a practical point of view and the difficulties encountered will be managed through tutorial support. To assess this type of class, students will be asked to keep a logbook.
