Objectives
Acquiring skills and more in-depth scientific knowledge of topics related to facial harmony, aesthetic and functional. At the end of the semester students should be able to systematize, support and plan the most complex clinical cases and their treatment options.
Learning outcomes and competences
The mentioned program contents enable the fulfillment of the proposed objectives as they allow the learning of specific and multidisciplinary materials and operatory techniques and latest dental materials used in dentistry.
Through discussion and critique of relevant issues and the acquisition of new and more extensive scientific knowledge and also the presentation and discussion of more complex clinical cases in class can recognize the importance of subjects taught as well as meet the proposed objectives of learning.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The lectures are in accordance with the syllabus noted, they are taught by the teacher and supported by Power-Point. Theoretical-practical classes are held with the active participation of students. The presented discussion topics according to the syllabus and based on recent scientific articles allows the evaluation of scientific
knowledge that they will acquire, as well as critical skills they present.

Calculation formula of final grade
The final grade corresponds to the the sum of class participation (40%) plus the evaluation obtained in a work to be presented in the form of a review article, oral communication or poster (60%), related to a theme distributed to each student, as part of the conservative aesthetic dentistry.
