To introduce the Psychology as a scientific domain, presenting its main models and approaches in an interdisciplinary perspective, building briges with Dental Medicine;
To present a wide approach of the human being as a bio-psycho-social being which evolves throughout the whole life-span;
To present the general competences for communicating and interacting with others.
Skills; the student will be able to:
- recognize and apply the main concepts related with Psychology;
- identify the several dimensions and processes related with human functioning;
- recognize and describe the several stages of the human development process;
- recognize and use the several models and the main competences for comunicating and interacting with others.
