Teaching methods and learning activities

Lectures in a frame of critical exposition of theoretical concepts; in order to improve communication they are supported by technologies, which the teacher explores and adjusts . These tools value and promote learning interaction and are mainly digital and alike supported.

Case study learning is particularly valid (PBL), in a preclinical context of simulation of real situations such as need for oral health promotion and treatment of pathology; it favors the integration of scientific knowledge with future clinical practice, cultivates clinical reasoning and allows the development of clinical communication strategies and teamwork.

Questions will be asked at the end of some/all of the lectures (to be decided by the teacher) to prepare for the test (5% of the test grade).

Calculation formula of final grade

Normal Season:

T and T/P assessment - 70%, through partial tests with a minimum positive mark (10 points) in each test.
(5% of the mark will be from questions asked in class).
