Objectives
Provide students of the specialization with the knowledge of the general and specific risks associated with the development of dental activity, the main occupational diseases related to the activity, as well as the best way to prevent them.
It is intended that students get the knowledge on what ergonomics is, how to apply it to dentistry, what are its goals and the consequences of the non-implementation in order to contribute to the development of a dental medical activity healthier and safer.
Learning outcomes and competences
Students should develop knowledge, skills and abilities to understand and identify risks inherent to the development of dental activity and the best way to deal with them. They should also incorporate into their development a critical view of the importance of this knowledge in their daily clinical practice.
