Objectives
Following the previously developed work plan, students will produce a FINAL ESSAY that will be assessed by an independent commitee, corresponding to an original dissertation, curricular internship report or Project report (hereafter mentioned as "dissertation"), on a specific subject in the area of Management.
Learning outcomes and competences
In their dissertation the students must develop and demonstrate mastery of the following competences:
- Analytic, problem solving and decision-making: Graduates will be able to use their critical thinking abilities to solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Interpersonal skills: Graduates will be able to communicate effectively and cooperate with others to attain mutual goals.
- Graduates will demonstrate effective communication skills when conveying ideas in presentations and written reports.
- Furthermore, they will demonstrate the ability to work within a team, and share responsibilities.
- Intrapersonal skills: Graduates will be able to learn independently and plan the actions appropriate to the attainment of their goals, displaying adaptability and resilience.
- Graduate will demonstrate planning skills, adaptability and resilience to deal with unforeseen events, ensuring task completion.
- Graduates will demonstrate the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills on their own.
- Ethical Commitment: Graduates will be able to behave with integrity and to show ethical commitment. Specifically, graduates will demonstrate an awareness of academic integrity standards and ethical problems, behaving accordingly.
- Management & Business Knowledge and Techniques: Graduates will be competent in the core areas of management and will be able to understand how these areas are integrated.
- Graduates will demonstrate understanding and mastery of concepts in the key functional areas of management.
- Graduates will tackle management situations employing a multidisciplinary approach.

Eligibility for exams
Students need to obtain a grade equal or higher than 50% in the dissertation viva (10 out of 20).
Calculation formula of final grade
Final grade between 0 and 20 which is decided by the commitee responsible for assessing the thesis' presentation and discussion.
