Objectives

Following the previously developed work plan, students will produce a FINAL ESSAY that will be assessed by an independent commitee, corresponding to an original dissertation, curricular internship report or Project report (hereafter mentioned as "dissertation"), on a specific subject in the area of Management.

Learning outcomes and competences

In their dissertation the students must develop and demonstrate mastery of the following competences:


  1. Analytic, problem solving and decision-making: Graduates will be able to use their critical thinking abilities to solve problems and make informed decisions.

  2. Interpersonal skills: Graduates will be able to communicate effectively and cooperate with others to attain mutual goals.


    1. Graduates will demonstrate effective communication skills when conveying ideas in presentations and written reports.

    2. Furthermore, they will demonstrate the ability to work within a team, and share responsibilities.


  3. Intrapersonal skills: Graduates will be able to learn independently and plan the actions appropriate to the attainment of their goals, displaying adaptability and resilience.


    1. Graduate will demonstrate planning skills, adaptability and resilience to deal with unforeseen events, ensuring task completion.

    2. Graduates will demonstrate the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills on their own.


  4. Ethical Commitment: Graduates will be able to behave with integrity and to show ethical commitment. Specifically, graduates will demonstrate an awareness of academic integrity standards and ethical problems, behaving accordingly.

  5. Management & Business Knowledge and Techniques: Graduates will be competent in the core areas of management and will be able to understand how these areas are integrated.


    1. Graduates will demonstrate understanding and mastery of concepts in the key functional areas of management.

    2. Graduates will tackle management situations employing a multidisciplinary approach.
