To use economic concepts in order to better understand the health care sector, taking into account its specificity and motivate students to research in the field of health economics. Sensitize students to the special importance of innovation in this area and the particularities of economic evaluation in health.
The student should be able to:
1. apply basic economic concepts to the analysis of real situations.
2. Identify different healthcare economic evaluation methods and to interpret the results of an evaluation study
3. anticipate and to some extent know how to influence the diffusion of innovations
