FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE is an annual project targeted to all master students that supports the training and personal development of the applicants, adding to their academic qualifications. Candidates are challenged with individual and group scenarios while being evaluated by 9 companies from different sectors. In each challenge, the Jury members express qualitative and quantitative feedback about the candidates' performance, thus contributing to their preparation for the job market and skills development.
FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE brings FEP and companies together, promoting resources to strengthen professional development.
The result of the programme will be the annual selection of the three top master students, who have the best performance during their participation in the FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE.
All the programme phases and interactions with the jury members are English.

Applications from 13 to 28 February 2023 (at 23h59)
Your application must include 4 documents: the Curriculum Vitae, the application form , a full-face photo in png or jpg (minimum size 1080 x 1080px, square format and white background), and a signed declaration of consent .

WHO CAN APPLY
Applications are open to all 1st and 2nd year Master Degree students.

PHASES
FEP MASTER’S CHALLENGE happens during the 2nd semester in several stages in which applicants will be facing a selection process. Candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in training workshops (optional*).

IN THE PAST, I HAVE APPLIED OR PARTICIPATED IN THE POOL DE TALENTOS FEP. MAY I STILL APPLY TO FEP MASTER’S CHALLENGE? Definitely! If you are a Master student of FEP you are welcome to apply. The projects you were involved before will only add personality to your application. Good Luck!
DO I HAVE TO SPEAK ENGLISH IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE? Yes. All the phases of the programme and interactions with the members of the jury will be in English. For that reason, your English Level should allow you to communicate easily. However, your English Language Level will not be scored or evaluated.
I AM A STUDENT OF THE 1ST YEAR OF MASTER. SHOULD I APPLY THIS YEAR OR WAIT FOR THE NEXT EDITION? We strongly advise you to take this opportunity now and to take advantage of the training process and closer contact with the companies. In case you do not win, you will have the opportunity to participate again next year, taking with you the experience of being an ex-participant.
I HAVE DOUBTS IF MY ACADEMIC GRADE IS SUFICIENT TO BE CONSIDERED A TOP STUDENT. SHOULD I STILL APPLY? You should always apply. Top students are not only defined by their academic performance but also by their soft skills and experiences, which employers consider very important. Take the chance to know yourself during your participation in FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE and to understand what employers are looking for.
I ALREADY HAVE A JOB, SHOULD I APPLY TO FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE? Yes, you are very welcome to apply. Participating in this programme will give you the opportunity to have specific training and to contact closer with other employers, expanding your network. Furthermore, the winners of the FEP MASTER´S CHALLENGE will get public recognition.
