Carolina Campos, Marta Vigário, Pedro Lopes and Ricardo Brandão, all FEP students, won first place in the Global Business Case Competition, an international business case solving competition, organised by the University of Washington (Seattle), which took place between 15 and 26 April, online.
FEP students impressed the jury members with their presentation and recommendations for the final case focused on Tesla's global expansion strategy. The challenge involved the presentation of an implementation plan and forecasts for the strategy they recommended. The jury praised the model and the creative solution presented.
Before reaching the final, the students were challenged to analyse and develop a business recommendation in 24 hours for a real case, divided into global mixed teams, composed of students from other international schools.
The competition was disputed by 24 top schools from 19 countries around the world, with FEP being the only school representing Portugal.
The FEP team is part of the FEP International Case Team, a School organisation whose main objective is the resolution and presentation, by its members, of case studies, having been trained by Professors Catarina Roseira and Renata Blanc.
