Abstract (EN): Measurements of the tilt angle, response time tau(s) and of the polarization were performed in compounds presenting several chiral smectic mesophases. The behaviour of these parameters under an a.c. electric field, make them interesting for electrooptical devices. We will show that the electrooptical measurements are good to identify the ferroelectric phases.
