Abstract (EN): This paper provides a description of the development of software tools able to deal with system fast dynamic monitoring and determination of preventive control procedures, for a given set of disturbances, in networks with large integration of wind power production. Preventive control is performed through power redispatches, involving also the on/off control of the wind generators. The quality of the approach is illustrated here through its application to the system of the Madeira island.
