Abstract (EN): The authors regret that the two rows (i.e. second-degree burns and third-degree burns) of Table 3 of the article were incorrect. The correct values are now displayed below. Also, there was a typing error in the row defining the ICD-9-CM codes of scalds (Table 1) and should be written ¿E958.2; E988.2¿ instead of ¿E958.2; 988.2¿. A similar type of error was present in the last paragraph of the Results section, where should be written ¿in 2000¿ instead of ¿in 2010¿ regarding the number of hospitalisations and the hospitalisation rate. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. © 2016
