Abstract (EN): This paper focuses on the dynamic analysis of a stone masonry railway bridge under seismic loading. The simulation of the bridge structural behaviour is based on a 3D finite element model which includes the bridge components like piers, arches, spandrel walls, infill and foundations as well as the track components that are the rails, sleepers and ballast, both modelled using homogenous elements and elastic materials. Synthetic series of acceleration are used to represent the action of 5 earthquakes based on EC8. The structural modelling allowed to represent the bridge linear response in face of seismic actions aiming to evaluate the evolution of the dynamic effects in terms of deformations and stresses indicating an overall good behaviour.
