Abstract (EN): We present an analytical solution of the steady MHD equations for an axisymmetric magnetized outflow emanating from a central rotating star. This model deals adequately with the continuity and momentum equations, while a full energy equation is not included at this stage. Instead, the heating required to sustain the outflow is deduced from the set of MHD equations. The analysis is based on a nonlinear separation of the variables and yields three anisotropy parameters controlling the dependence of the several quantities with latitude. Topologically, the outflow speed is controlled by an X-type critical point which filters a unique wind-type solution. This point is found at the location where the radial component of the flow velocity equals the fast MHD wave speed in that direction. Applications of this model to the solar wind, using Ulysses data, will be attempted.
