Abstract (EN): The objective of this work was to study the divisibility of captopril, acetilsalicilic acid, paracetamol and dopamine scored tablets and to establish relations with others physics characteristics such as hardness and friability. The influence of the operator in the division of the tablets was also studied using paracetamol commercialised formulas comparing the results obtained by 10 voluntaries. The influence of the tablet division in the release profile was determined using modified release acetylsalicylic acid tablets.
