Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
This course seeks to provide a current scientific research and reflect on trends and today's administrative law deems. Can't stop research on traditional dogmatic matters know, looking new epistemological paths needed to renovate the main legal categories.
In the end of the curricular unit, student’s will be able to understand rigorously dogmatic concepts and institutes of Administrative Law, understand and critically analyze the regulatory and jurisprudential bases, develop an autonomous research and solve real situations that professional practice requires.
Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and learning outcomes:
The depicted teaching methodology provides the students with essential knowledge on the studied themes, thus enhancing their capacities of a critical reflection and preparing them to the coming writing of their masters’ thesis in Administrative Law.
The proposed methodology meets the goals of teaching / learning defined for the C.U., as it reflects the specific needs of the transmission of knowledge concerning the matter in question.
On the other hand, and in line with former arguments, students’ continuous evaluation is envisaged as the most correct method to evaluate real knowledge and competences acquired within the frame of the curricular unit.

Teaching methodologies (including evaluation):
Theoretical and practical classes; Exposition of the (subject) contents with regular application of the case-method. Work with cases and study of jurisprudential trends and criteria.
Given the prescribed aims, the curricular unit is submitted to continuous evaluation as defined in the adequate Faculty’s regulation. In the students’ final evaluation will be considered the following elements: (i) active participation of students in class; (ii) written work on Administrative Law themes.
