Objectives
This program aims to introduce to i) the major theoretical, epistemological and methodological issues of qualitative research; ii) the qualitative research applied to deviance and crime; iii) the logic and strategies of qualitative research process; iv) the methods of collecting, analysing and interpreting qualitative materials.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Theoretical classes are used to describe and discuss the main contents of the program. Practice classes are orientated toward i) the analysis and discussion of scientific literature and other resources; ii) he practice of qualitative methods of collecting and analysing data .
