Abstract (EN): The ImpactAir project - Urban Large Traffic Lines Impact on Heath and Air Quality; The VCI Case, will elapse between 2004 and 2006 evolving a partnership among the National Institute of Health Dr. Ricardo Jorge, the Fernando Pessoa University and the Oporto Faculty of Medicine. It is a project financed by the Foundation for the Science and Technology (POCTI) with the main objective to assess the traffic emissions impact on air quality and local populations health. Under the scope of the first task, a preliminary evaluation of nitrogen dioxide levels and a first traffic emission prediction have been made. ©ArquiMed, 2004.
